Over the course of 13 lessons, students explore key moments in Israel’s journey in the wilderness. They will examine the sin of the golden calf and learn about clean and unclean animals. They will also study Yahweh's Appointed Times as outlined in Scripture and discover what happened during Korah’s rebellion. Along the way, they will see how God confirmed Aaron’s role through the budding staff and learn from the account of Balaam and his talking donkey.
Students will witness Yahweh's provision through water from the rock and follow the calling of Joshua as he prepares to lead Israel. They will also explore the purpose of the six Cities of Refuge and learn about the blessings and curses connected to obedience, as recorded in Deuteronomy. The study concludes with Joshua leading the Israelites toward the Promised Land, helping students see how God remained faithful to His promises.
Every lesson includes a ready-to-use lesson plan with clear objectives and guided teaching prompts, along with a child-friendly Bible summary rooted in Scripture. Discussion questions help reinforce understanding, while a variety of low-prep, hands-on activities, including worksheets, puzzles, sequencing tasks, creative writing, and crafts, keep students engaged and actively learning.
