Welcome to the Torah Time Traveler Activity Book (Volume Three), a ready-to-use Biblical Studies curriculum that takes students on a structured, week-by-week journey through Genesis and Exodus. Designed for grades 3-6, this resource helps children explore the transition from Joseph’s life in Egypt to the mighty acts of God through Moses. Over the course of 13 lessons, students begin with the story of Joseph’s brothers in Egypt, including the testing with the silver cup, and learn why Jacob and his family settled there. The study then moves into the early life of Moses, from his birth and rescue to God calling him from the burning bush.
Students will witness the ten plagues that came upon Egypt and learn about the first Passover, as described in Exodus 12. They will follow the Israelites as they leave Egypt, cross the Red Sea, and experience God’s provision through manna and quail in the wilderness. Along the way, they will explore key events such as the battle at Rephidim and the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai. The journey continues with the building of the tabernacle and the setting apart of Aaron as high priest, helping students understand how God instructed His people to worship Him.
Every lesson includes a ready-to-use lesson plan with clear objectives and guided teaching prompts, along with a child-friendly Bible summary rooted in Scripture. Discussion questions help reinforce understanding, while a variety of low-prep, hands-on activities, including worksheets, puzzles, sequencing tasks, creative writing, and crafts, keep students engaged and actively learning.
