Designed for grades 3-6, Integrity: A Character-Building Unit Study helps students explore the theme of integrity through Proverbs 11:3 and the story of Job. Created for homeschool families, classrooms, co-ops, and children's ministry programs, this low-prep resource provides everything you need to teach a Bible character lesson while saving valuable planning time.
Students will discover how Job remained faithful to God during intense testing, how his integrity guided him to trust God even when he did not understand his circumstances, and how God restored and blessed him. Through Scripture-based activities, children will develop a deeper understanding that integrity means choosing to do what is right and trusting Him in every season of life.
Students will:
- Define integrity from a biblical perspective and explain Proverbs 11:3 in their own words
- Explore Job's story and explain how he demonstrated integrity by remaining faithful to God during trials
- Learn how God protected Job, allowed him to be tested, and then finally restored him
- Strengthen Bible literacy through Scripture-based reading, discussion, and review activities
- Develop reading comprehension, critical thinking, vocabulary, writing, and communication skills
- Apply integrity by choosing honesty, faithfulness, and obedience to God's commands in everyday situations
This one-week unit study combines character development and educational skill-building in an easy-to-use format. Through hands-on activities, discussion questions, reflection exercises, and a Bible craft activity, students will discover that integrity means doing what is right, even when no one is watching.
