Created for Grades 3-6, it includes a complete lesson plan with clear objectives, key vocabulary, discussion prompts, and a handy answer key, making it well suited for homeschool families, Sabbath School, Sunday School, co-ops, and classroom settings.
Students journey through the seven days of Creation and closely examine why God set apart the seventh day as holy. Using Genesis 1:1-2:3 and supporting Bible verses, children will learn that the Sabbath is not simply a day of rest, but a day God blessed, sanctified, and made different from all others. Activities guide students to understand biblical concepts such as Shabbat (to cease), holiness (set apart), and God’s example of intentional rest.
